The Playa Vista Cartoon Club is composed of resident children who draw the main characters of seasonal cartoons.  Backgrounds are provide by professional artists.  The cartoons have appeared as 30 second TV spots on Cartoon Network, ABC Family and Nickelodeon.  Some of the children have written their own cartoons and toured of Nickelodeon Studios where they pitched their cartoon to studio executives.

The instructor, Dale Ross, used to head up the Los Angeles office for Blue Mountain, the animated greeting card company.  She has taught Flash animation at Nickelodeon Studios, School of Visual Arts and San Diego State University.
